2017-18 (Redshirt Freshman) 3-9 Overall, 1-3 Duals, 2-6 Tournaments: Placed sixth in the freshman and sophomore division at the MSU Open in his first appearance as a Spartan, going 2-2 at the tournament ... Won his first collegiate dual match with a 3-1 sudden victory over Deven Perez of Central Michigan, helping the Spartans to a 6-0 lead to start off the dual ... Appeared in three additional dual matches throughout the season, facing two opponents ranked in the top-20 at 133 pounds.
PREP: Four-time varsity letter winner … Named All-League four times and All-State three times … Winner of the 135 state title in 2016 … Compiled a 48-5 record his junior year and a 51-3 record his senior year … Also lettered in football and baseball.
