2006-07 (Redshirt): Redshirted...Went 2-5 in open competition...Picked up first collegiate win against Pennsylvania[apos]s Chris Moulton, a 6-5 decision, at the MSU Open...Also defeated Ohio[apos]s Joe Ellwood 8-1 at the Cleveland State Open.
PREP: A 2006 Michigan state champ at 275 pounds, finishing the season with a 54-1 record...A state runner-up as a junior, notching a 45-3 mark...Registered 53 victories his sophomore season en route to a sixth-place finish at states...A four-year starter...Named a high school All-American at Ford Field in 2003.
