Tim Bonacum

Tim Bonacum was hired in August 2019 as an athletic trainer serving the wrestling program. He also assists with the Spartan athletic programs as needed for additional post-operative and long term patient rehabilitation programs.
A native of Fanwood, New Jersey, Bonacum attained his bachelor of science and doctorate in physical therapy degrees from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He recently completed a season with the Maine Red Claws as the head athletic trainer in the NBA G-League and as the head athletic trainer for the French National Team during the 2018 World Lacrosse Championships in Israel.
His physical therapy clinical experiences involved EXOS Sports Rehabilitation and Performance and OrthoTennessee Sports Medicine in Knoxville. He has attained certifications M1 Graston Technique, Reflexive Performance Reset Coach, Mulligan Concept Lower Quadrant, and EXOS Performance Specialist.
