Mary Lewis returns to her alma mater for her first season as the assistant coach for the Michigan State women's tennis program.
Coaching alongside her former head coach Kim Bruno, Lewis was a student-athlete from 2018-22 for MSU, Lewis was a two-time All-Big Ten selection (2020-21), Big Ten Sportsmanship honoree (2021), and was a two-time team captain. Lewis qualified for the main draw of the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in the 2018-19 seasons. As a junior in 2019 Lewis was a recipient of the ITA Midwest Region Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship award. Lewis finished her career with a 32-30 singles record and a 27-28 doubles record.
