MSU Hockey Featured On NHL Cool Shots This Week

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State hockey program and the record-setting outdoor game vs. Michigan at Spartan Stadium on Oct. 6 will be the focus of the "NHL Cool Shots" series this week. Host Dan Moriarity and an NHL Productions crew spent two days in East Lansing for the game and talked to MSU head coach Ron Mason and goaltender Ryan Miller, among others. The unit also filmed Mason's pre-game speech to his team prior to the 3-3 tie with the Wolverines.
The show featuring Michigan State will be broadcast at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17. The episode will be rebroadcast on espn2 at 3 a.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 20. "NHL Cool Shots" can also be seen on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Saturdays at noon ET.
