Liles' Last Take On Outdoor Hockey Game

This is the sixth and final diary from MSU junior defenseman John-Michael Liles. He shares his thoughts after playing in the game vs. Michigan at Spartan Stadium.

I can't even describe it. The roar of the crowd when we came out was great. I'll definitely remember this game for a lifetime.

I was a little nervous my first shift out there. We really hadn't been playing game speed out here during practice. It's just tough to do. I think I was a little nervous and just trying not to make any mistakes. I just wanted to play hard for the first couple shifts and get into a rhythm before we tried to open it up.

It really hasn't set in. I definitely want to play another game (like this) but that's not feasible at this time. I'm really proud to have been a part of it. It was an amazing experience.
