EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State hockey coach Ron Mason announced today that freshman center Jeremy Jackson has been dismissed from the team due to accountability issues in the classroom and with the team.
The Langley, B.C., native currently ranks tied for fourth on the team with 19 points in 23 games but had scored just four points in his last 10 contests. He missed four of the Spartans' last five games for disciplinary reasons.
Jackson is still attending classes at MSU.
