We're going to Detroit tonight for the CCHA Banquet. We're coming back after it and leaving for Detroit again Friday evening. With not knowing what team we are playing until the night before, I just take a relaxed approach. Going down there, we know we have to put together two good games to win the championship. We tend to focus on a team and really break down their tendencies. I think we are familiar enough with the teams that are playing for the final spots. Whoever it comes down to, we'll have an idea of how to play them. I don't think it will be too big of a change.
With Brian Maloney out for the season, everybody just has to play their game. Brian was a key player, but we know we lost him for the season. We just have to accept it and move on. We wish we had him and we hope he gets better soon. Somebody's going to have to step up and fill that void, everybody's going to have to put that out of their minds. That should be the furthest thing from your minds. If anything, you're playing for Brian -- to give him a little boost.
School-wise, I'm going to start typing a paper this week. I have a problem set for finance due Friday and one for economics next Tuesday. I have to start studying. I can't procrastinate with four tests in two days coming up pretty soon. I got the majority of the things I wanted done over spring break.
