His 79 three-point field goals this season rank fifth on the MSU single-season chart. In a Feb. 23 contest vs. Syracuse, Hill set Michigan State, Big Ten and Breslin Center records with 10 three-point field goals. Hill earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors on Jan. 27 after averaging 20 points, six rebounds and three assists in games vs. Penn State and Michigan. He was recently recognized as just the fourth player in Spartan basketball history to earn Academic All-America honors, finding a spot on the third team. In addition, he was named to the NABC All-District 11 second team.
Anderson ranks second on the team in scoring (9.7 ppg) and assists (3.1 apg). The 6-foot-6, 220-pound swingman, who has the versatility to play four different positions, has emerged as MSU's point guard down the stretch. Anderson's numbers improve in conference play, where he averages 10.6 points per contest. He ranks fourth in the Big Ten in overall free throw percentage (.842) and third in conference games (.873). In Big Ten action, he ranks fourth in field-goal percentage (.586). Anderson's play is critical to MSU's success as the Spartans are 12-1 when he scores in double figures.
