Patrice McKinney Granted Release

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Patrice McKinney, a 5-8 redshirt freshman guard on the 2003-04 Michigan State women's basketball team, has asked for and been granted a release from Michigan State University, head coach Joanne P. McCallie announced today.

McKinney, who averaged 3.0 points and 2.5 rebounds while playing in all 31 games last season for MSU, will transfer to another school of her choice.

"We're saddened by Patrice's decision and we wish her the very best," said McCallie.
