Harmon Competes At U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men's golfer Matt Harmon (Grand Rapids, Mich.) participated in the 79th U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship at the Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove, Minn., July 12-13. The sophomore-to-be shot a two-round total of 150 (74-76) and did not advance to match play.

Harmon advanced to the U.S. Am Pub Links after taking medalist honors with a 138 in sectional qualifying at the Orchards Golf Club in Washington, Mich., June 15-16.
