Men's Golf Posts Strong Showing At Alumni Challenge

HOUSTON, Texas - The Michigan State men's golf team competed in the annual The Green and The White Alumni Challenge on Saturday afternoon and posted an 11-over par 295. Junior Ryan Brehm led the team at with a 1-over par 72 on the par-71, 7,220 yard Champions Golf Course in Houston, Texas.
The alumni team was led by team captain and three-year letterwinner (1982-1984) Thomas Ross III, who shot a 2-over 73.
The Spartans rounded out with a 74 from sophomore Grant Tungate and freshman Jack Newman, and sophomore Jordan Ensrud posted a 75.
Michigan State returns to action on Saturday, April 7 for the two-day Boilermaker Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.
