Introduction
Welcome to the Michigan State University's Women's Basketball Summer Sports Camps. We are excited to offer four camps for both individuals and high school teams across the Mid-West.
All Camp Information
Registration
Participants can register online at www.sportscamps.msu.edu or complete an application and mail it to the sports camps office. Full Payment by either check, MasterCard, or VISA must accompany the application. Make checks payable to Michigan State University. You will receive confirmation of enrollment within 12-15 business days after you have submitted your application.
Walk-In Registration Policy
Walk-in registration (signing up the day camp begins) will be accepted on a space available, first come, first served basis. An additional $10 fee will be charged for walk-in registrations. Cash payment only; no checks or credit cards will be accepted for walk-ins.
Administrative Information
Refund Policy
Campers unable to attend camp are entitled to a refund. A $55 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds, regardless of the reason. Refund requests must be submitted in writing PRIOR to the first day of the camp session in which the camper was originally enrolled. No refunds for any reason (i.e. injury, illness) will be given once a camper is on campus.
MSU Sport Camp Policy
Persons enrolled in MSU Sports Camps will be required to attend all sessions and to comply with the rules and regulations of Michigan State University governing the conduct of all students on the campus.
Roommate Requests (excluding Day Camp)
To aid us with your roommate and suitemate preferences, please submit your written applications in the same envelope or submit online applications on the same day. All requests for roommate and suitemate preferences must be confirmed by email 30 days prior to camp start date at msucamps@msu.edu.
Early Arrival/Late Check-Outs
MSU cannot provide for early arrivals, late check-outs, campers remaining on campus between camps, or transportation to or from airports or train stations.
Medical Policy
Each participant should have his or her own medical insurance. A student trainer will always be available. Participants are automatically enrolled in MSU's accident insurance plan. Eligible covered expenses will be paid only if they are in excess of other valid and collectible insurance. No physicals are required.
Camp Store
At select times during camps, participants will have the opportunity to purchase merchandise from the camp store, including t-shirts and shorts. A more detailed list of inventory, prices, and store times will be mailed to the participants at least one week prior to their arrival on campus.

DAY CAMP
Dates: June 26-29 Eligibility: Girls between the ages of 8 and 16 Cost: $280.00
General Information
The Individual Day Camp provides fun-filled instruction and emphasis on the fundamentals of basketball. Beginning players will receive instruction in basic techniques, rules, and sportsmanship. More experience players will be challenged in skill development and competition opportunities.
What to Expect
Participants will be receive expert instruction from the Michigan State University Women's Basketball players and staff in addition to other top collegiate coaches, current and former Division 1 athletes, and high school coaches from around the Mid-West. Each player will receive individual attention during station work, demonstrations, guest speakers, and competition while having access to the state-of-art facilities and equipment.
What to Bring
All campers should wear gym shorts, t-shirts, and basketball/tennis shoes to camp everyday. We encourage you to leave your valuables at home, as Michigan State University and the Women's Basketball program is not responsible for lost or stolen items. If you choose to bring extra belongings with you, we courage you to bring a gym bag with an identifying nametag.
Check-In, Check-Out, Drop-off, and Pick-Up
Check-In for Day Camp will take place at Munn Ice Arena, directly across the street from Breslin Center. More detailed information regarding exact times will be mailed to each participant at least one week prior to your arrival on campus.
Parents can drop off and pick up their child(ren) from Gate B on the southeast side of the Breslin Center (near the Magic Johnson Statue).
Parents can park in Lot 63 West; the entrance to the parking lot is located off of Harrison Ave on the east side of Breslin Center.

OVERNIGHT CAMP
Dates: June 29-31 Eligibility: Girls between the ages of 12 and 18 Cost: Resident Hall: $380; Commuter: $340
General Information
In the Overnight Camp, the emphasis will be placed on skill development. Individual instruction will be taught by the MSU Coaching Staff, players, and high school coaches. Girls who have the heart, desire, and work ethic to become a fundamental basketball player are encouraged to attend. Come and learn what it takes to be successful on and off the court.
What to Expect
Participants will be receive expert instruction from the Michigan State University Women's Basketball players and staff in addition to other top collegiate coaches, current and former Division 1 athletes, and high school coaches from around the Mid-West. Each player will receive individual attention during station work, demonstrations, guest speakers, and competition while having access to the state-of-art facilities and equipment. This camp is more competitive than Day Camp, and only players who are passionate about the game and who strive to improve as a player are encouraged to attend.
What to Pack
Daily Belongings: All campers should wear gym shorts, t-shirts, and basketball/tennis shoes to camp everyday. We encourage you to leave your valuables at home, as Michigan State University and the Women's Basketball program is not responsible for lost or stolen items. If you choose to bring extra belongings with you, we courage you to bring a gym bag with an identifying nametag.
Overnight Belongings: Michigan State University will only provide towels and bed linens to campers who will stay overnight on campus. Each camper must bring with them all toiletry items, extra clothing, fans, any snack food, extra spending money, or any other personal item they so choose.

Team Camp I is the least competitive of our two team camps offered. High schools from across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois will participate this summer. All games are refereed by certified professionals.
What to Expect
Each team will play at least five games against opponents within their division. Each team is placed in a division as decided by their coach. Varsity teams will compete either in a highly competitive or competitive bracket, while junior varsity teams will compete in the junior varsity division.
