Gymnastics Hosts Green and White Scrimmage

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State gymnastics team will hold its annual Green and White meet on Friday, Dec. 10, at 6:30 p.m. in Jenison Field House. This will mark the first opportunity to publicly see the teams 2011 routines. Patrons wishing to attend should proceed to the third floor of Jenison to MSU's practice facility.
The Spartans will be collecting non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys for girls ages 10-12, as well as monetary donations during the event. Items collected will help to benefit the team's adopted family during the holiday season.
MSU returns 10 members from the 2009-10 season, and welcome seven newcomers to the lineup in 2009-10. Joining Michigan State this season is Sarena Bumbarger, Gillian Carr, Laura Jollie, Jessica Leadbetter, Dani Levy, Kelsey Mazur and Alex Pace.
The Spartans will participate in their first regular season meet with Iowa, Michigan and Western Michigan on Friday, Jan. 7, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in Jenison on the main floor.
