Post-Game Notes

• With the win, Michigan State clinched a share of its 12th Big Ten Championship.

• In his final home game, Raymar Morgan recorded his 12th-career double-double with a season-high 22 points and 10 rebounds. Morgan, whose previous season-high 20 points came earlier this season at Michigan, has now scored in double figures in four of the last five games and is averaging 14.6 points per game over that stretch.

Morgan also tied a career-high with four steals.

• The Spartans out-rebounded the Wolverines, 36-24, and held UM to just eight offensive boards.

• Michigan's 14 first-half points was its lowest of the season and the lowest for any Spartan opponent this season in the first half. It is the lowest first-half point total for any Spartan opponent since March 14, 2003 when MSU led Purdue, 24-12, at the half in the Big Ten Tournament (MSU, 54-42). It is the second time in the last three meetings between the teams that MSU has held UM below 15 points in the first half. Last year, MSU led UM, 23-15, at the half in its 54-42 win in Ann Arbor on Feb. 10, 2009.

• With 10 points, Delvon Roe had his first double-digit scoring game since he poured in 13 in a win over Northwestern on Jan. 30.

• Also with 10 points, Kalin Lucas hit the double-digit mark for the first time since a win over Indiana on Feb. 16 when he scored 13 points - a three-game span.

• Today's 16-point margin of victory was the largest for MSU over Michigan since a 90-71 win on Feb. 18, 2006. The Spartans are 13-3 against Michigan in the last 16 meetings and 11 of those wins have been by double figures.

• Michigan State outscored Michigan, 38-18, in the paint.

• Today marked the final home game for Raymar Morgan, Isaiah Dahlman and Jon Crandell.
