The tournament, which will feature 36 holes on Saturday and 18 holes on Sunday at Pasatiempo Golf Course, begins each day with an 11:30 a.m. ET shotgun start.
It is the Spartans' third straight trip to the Western Intercollegiate, having tied for second in 2008 and placing fourth last year.
This year's field includes Boise State, Hawaii, Idaho, New Mexico State, No. 4 Oregon, No. 23 Oregon State, Pacific, San Jose State, Tulsa, UC Irvine and No. 5 UCLA.
Competing this weekend for MSU will be seniors Andrew Ladwig and Jack Newman, sophomores Dave Ellis and Chris Mory, and freshmen Matthew Moseley and James Ross.
