Women's Basketball Announces Summer Camp Dates

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's basketball program announced the dates of its three camps held this summer at the Breslin Center. The Spartans will host Elite Camp on June 23-24, Team Camp on June 25-26 and Individual Camp on June 27-30.

June 23-24 - MSU WBB ELITE CAMP
Elite Camp is designed for female student-athletes who are interested in playing basketball at the collegiate level. Michigan State Women's Basketball Elite Camp experience will help increase basketball skill while maintaining focus on team concepts. You will be led by the Michigan State coaching staff and players with many one-on-one opportunities to get to know them, on and off the court. You will have a chance to stay on campus overnight, as well as enjoy MSU's state-of-the-art facilities, including the MSU women's basketball locker room, the Berkowitz Basketball Complex and of course the Breslin Center, home of MSU Basketball.

Elite Camp will run from the afternoon on June 23 to the afternoon on June 24 at a cost of $135 per camper.

June 25-26 - MSU WBB TEAM CAMP
Michigan State Women's Basketball Team Camp offers a great opportunity for your team to play in MSU's state-of-the-art facilities, as well as a team building experience during the two-day camp. MSU's team camp is open to high school varsity, junior varsity, freshmen and AAU teams on all skill levels.

Coaches will have their choice of three divisions in which your team will play: Highly Competitive Varsity, Competitive Varsity and Junior Varsity. Each team is guaranteed six full games during their stay at camp with one special addition - The MSU Tournament of Champions! MSU has added a single-game elimination tournament that will be played on Saturday afternoon - winners stay and play, just like any post season tournament. For teams who can only make it one day, we also offer a Day Team Camp; teams have their choice of coming June 25 OR June 26 and are guaranteed three games.

The cost for team camp is $185 for resident campers and $140 for commuting campers. Cost for one day team camp is $395 per team (limit 10 players; $40 each additional player).

June 27-30 - MSU WBB INDIVIDUAL CAMP
The MSU Women's Basketball Individual Camp provides fun-filled instruction with emphasis on the fundamentals of basketball for commuter campers. Players who are just beginning their basketball careers will receive instruction in basic techniques, rules and sportsmanship. More experienced players will be challenged in skill development and competition opportunities. Campers can choose to come to camp as a commuter for $280 per camper (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) or as a resident camper for $395 per camper (8 a.m. - 8 p.m. every day, stay overnight.)
