Meet the Spartans: Carson Tabiolo

The Michigan State gymnastics team will feature the student-athletes this season in attempt for fans to "Meet the Spartans". This week sophomore Carson Tabiolo (Aiea, Hawaii) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer questions about her experience so far at MSU and her favorite things
Name: Carson Tabiolo
Year in School: Sophomore
Hometown: Aiea, Hawaii
Major: Psychology
Best thing about being at MSU: I love the wide variety of activities always going on around campus and attending other Spartan sporting events.
Favorite class: Writing classes and classes that deal with worldly issues
Favorite movie: A tie between She's the Man and Burlesque
Favorite food: Kona Coffee Ice cream Mochi (Japanese dessert: balls of ice cream surrounded by pounded sticky rice)
Favorite restaurant: Panda Express
Special talent: I can whistle while smiling
Siblings: Two brothers Evan (22) and Erik (14), and a younger sister Camryn (12)
What do you want to be when you grow up: My ultimate goal is to become a clinical psychologist and eventually open my own practice.
Most exotic place you have traveled to: Alaska
Dream vacation spot: Japan or Australia
Favorite musician or band: Nicki Minaj and Linkin Park
Song that gets you pumped up before a meet: Sail by Awolnation or Levels by Avicci
Reason you picked MSU: The environment here is extremely diverse and feels like a town within a town. The culture is nothing like I've ever encountered before.
Favorite celebrity: Tiara and Tamara Rapp (from the ABDC season 7 crew 8Flavahz) because they were my teammates in club and are amazing, talented people.
Favorite thing to do besides gymnastics: Riding my long board around campus and surfing.
Favorite store to shop at: PAC Sun
If you were not doing gymnastics, what other sport would you become involved with: Figure skating and or dance
Favorite spot on campus: A bench right along the Red Cedar
Favorite competition at MSU: Illinois
Pre-game ritual: Getting up and going for a short walk while listening to calming music, eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the meal before, and getting ready with my teammates while jamming to the radio's latest smash hits.
