Wrestling Opens Home Dual Season Against Eastern Michigan

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Michigan State wrestling team opens the home dual season on Wednesday inside Jenison Field House as the Spartans play host to Eastern Michigan at 6 p.m.

The Spartans edged the Eagles last season at the Convocation Center in Ypsilanti, 18-16. In the last match of the dual, Chris Nash recorded a major decision at heavyweight to rally MSU to the victory.

Michigan State (0-3) began the season at the Eastern Michigan Duals on Nov. 7, but didn't face the Eagles (3-1) in the tournament. EMU is coming off a 32-3 victory over Cleveland State on Nov. 20.
