Michigan State Named NWCA Division I All-Academic Team

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State has earned Division I All-Academic Team honors from the National Wrestling Coaches Association for the 2014-15 season.
The Spartans were one of 30 schools recognized, ranking No. 19 in the nation with a 3.114 grade-point average. The team grade-point average was determined using a system that includes 12 student-athletes from each program.
Ten members of the Michigan State wrestling team earned Academic All-Big Ten honors, tied for second among Big Ten schools. To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten consideration, student-athletes must earn a varsity letter, be in at least their second academic year at a Big Ten institution and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
