
Meet the Spartans: Lucas Hall

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State wrestling team will feature a freshman each week in order to "Meet the Spartans" leading up to the 2016-17 season.
This week freshman Lucas Hall (Lowell, Mich./Lowell High School) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions.
Why did you choose to wrestle at Michigan State?
I chose to wrestle at Michigan State University because I felt a sense of family. Everyone here was proud to be a Spartan and I wanted to a part of that experience.
What are you most excited about as you begin your Spartan wrestling career?
I am most excited about getting on the mat with collegiate level athletes and training in a new environment.
When did you first start wrestling?
I first started wrestling when I was 5 years old.
Favorite wrestling memory?
My favorite wrestling memory is losing in the finals my senior year because it has humbled me and made me want to compete at a higher level than I ever have.
What's your major at Michigan State and why?
My major is Kinesiology and I chose that career path because I want to learn the study of human movement and help others.
What superhero power would you have if you could choose one?
I mean I am already pretty fast so I would like to have the super power of going invisible.

Favorite thing to do besides wrestling?
Eat and hangout with my friends
