Gymnastics To Host Meet The Spartans Saturday

MSU fans can get their first glimpse of the 2019 squad at 2 p.m.
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State gymnastics is set to host its annual Meet the Spartans event Saturday, November 17 at 2 p.m. in the MSU Gymnastics Training Center on the third floor of Jenison Field House.

Saturday's event will be free to the public and gives Spartan gymnastics fans their first glimpse at the 2019 edition of the Green and White with a gymnastics exhibition and sneak peek at this year's squad.

"We are introducing a new aspect this year called "Spartan flip-facts," that will give our fans a chance to interact with the gymnasts and coaches, learn more about the program, and what life as a student-athlete is like at Michigan State," MSU head coach Mike Rowe said.

The gymnastics "Perfect-10 Boosters" will be on-hand selling merchandise, along with Junior Spartan Gymnast memberships, which includes admission to all home meets this season, an autographed poster, a Spartan gymnastics t-shirt and one raffle entry at every home meet attended for a chance to win MSU gymnastics prizes.

Saturday's Meet the Spartans is followed by the annual Green and White meet Saturday, December 8 at 2 p.m. in Jenison Field House.
