Winston’s Big Second Half Leads Michigan State Past Michigan, 77-70

Ann Arbor, Mich. - Junior guard Cassius Winston (Detroit, Mich./University of Detroit Jesuit) scored 19 of his game-high 27 points in the second half as No. 10 Michigan State beat No. 7 Michigan, 77-70 at the Crisler Center on Sunday afternoon.
Redshirt senior Kenny Goins (Troy, Mich./Warren Mott) had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Sophomore forward Xavier Tillman (Grand Rapids, Mich./GR Christian) had 14 points and five rebounds and senior guard Matt McQuaid (Duncanville, Texas/Duncanville) finished with 13 points and five rebounds.
