BATON ROUGE, La. – Michigan State gymnastics finished the 2019 season with three individuals competing in the NCAA Regional on Friday at the Maravich Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sophomore Lea Mitchell competed in the all-around, junior Gabriella Douglas performed on floor and senior Jessica Ling worked the uneven bars.
"Lea, Ella and Jessica warmed up great today and without a doubt, put their best effort forward against a tough field tonight," MSU head coach Mike Rowe said. "We're so proud of their fortitude which in a few instances, were thrown some unexpected adversity which they fought through and persevered. It was a great experience for them and a great incentive to continue raising the bar and qualifying our team next year."
