East Lansing, Mich. – Graduate guard Joshua Langford (Huntsville, Ala./Madison Academy) scored a season-high 18 points and junior forward Aaron Henry (Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) added 16 points as Michigan State's men's basketball snapped a four-game losing streak with a 66-56 win over Nebraska on Saturday night at the Breslin Center.

- Michigan State led by 12 points (34-220 at the break and were up by 16 points early in the second half (42-26), but Nebraska hung around and pulled to within seven points, 46-39, on a jumper from Dalano Banton with just under nine minutes left.
- A pair of baskets from Henry, a breakaway dunk and a jumper, pushed the lead back to 13 points, 53-40, with 7:29 remaining.
- Nebraska's Lat Mayen hit a jumper to make it 57-49 with 1:29 left, but the Spartans hit 9-of-10 free throws to close out it, with junior guard Foster Loyer (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) connecting on all six of his attempts.
