Spartans Complete Regular Season With Road Trip to No. 8 Ohio State, Penn State

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State men's tennis team wraps up the regular season this weekend with matches at No. 8 Ohio State on Friday, April 16 at 3 p.m. and Penn State on Sunday, April 18 at noon.
The Spartans (5-11, 5-9 Big Ten) and eighth-ranked Buckeyes (16-2, 13-1 Big Ten) will face each other for the fourth time this season on Friday. MSU and OSU played two nonconference matches to open the season on Feb. 13 in Columbus, and met again in East Lansing on March 12. MSU fell to Penn State, 5-2, in East Lansing on March 14. The Nittany Lions enter the weekend with a 6-8 record and will host Michigan on Friday before taking on the Spartans. Live stats of Sunday's match will be available at gopsusports.com.
SPARTANS IN THE RANKINGS: Michigan State's doubles team of Nick Williams and Kazuki Matsuno came in at No. 47 in this week's ITA rankings.
BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP: The Big Ten Championship is scheduled for April 29-May 2 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The bracket will be released following this weekend's matches.
