Big Ten Conference Announces Home/Away Opponents for 2021-22

East Lansing, Mich. – The Big Ten Conference announced home and away opponents for the 2021-22 men's basketball season on Thursday afternoon.
The league will play a 20-game conference schedule, with each team playing seven opponents both home and away and then playing six opponents once (three at home and three away).
MSU will play both home and away against Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State and Wisconsin.
Big Ten opponents to visit the Breslin Center include Indiana, Nebraska and Purdue, while the Spartans will play road games against Iowa, Ohio State and Rutgers.
Michigan State finished the 2020-21 season with a 15-13 overall record, including a 9-11 mark in the Big Ten Conference, and was selected to the NCAA Tournament for the 23rd-straight season, the second-longest active streak in Division I men's basketball.
