MSU adds three to 2024 roster
EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State gymnastics head coach Mike Rowe has announced the signing of three incoming student-athletes to the Spartans’ 2024 roster.
Emma Misenheimer, Isabella Trostel and MaKayla Tucker are set to join the Spartans on campus in fall 2023.
“MaKayla, Isabella and Emma’s class, as our newest additions to our Spartan family, bring strong foundations, unbridled talent, competitive grit, personality, and consistency that will not only challenge but also add strength and depth to next year’s roster without a doubt,” said Rowe. It’s also their intangible assets that they bring with them that make them unique and admirable, helping them smoothly transition to the new culture that we have worked so hard to achieve. We see all three of them having a great impact in taking our program to the next level, and are excited to see all of them doing their best collegiate gymnastics as Spartans here at Michigan State!”

Coming from club programs which enforce good technique and execution, Emma’s growth on each event has contributed to her success from as early as 2018 when she qualified to her first J.O. Currently considered a three-star recruit, Emma is a strong competitor, also training all-around, that will continually push and challenge her Spartan sisters to continually raise their own standards.”
