Four in Double Figures as Michigan State Beats Southern Indiana, 74-51

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State opened up a 23-point lead at halftime and put four players in double figures en route to a 74-51 win over Southern Indiana on Thursday night at the Breslin Center.
The Spartans improve to 1-1 with the win, while the Screaming Eagles fall to 0-2.
Graduate guard Tyson Walker scored 14 points and had four assists to lead the Spartans, while junior guard Jaden Akins added 13 points, seven rebounds and four steals, senior forward Mady Sissoko had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds and graduate forward Malik Hall finished with 12 points, four rebounds and two assists.
