Spartans Conclude Regular Season at Sprints

WORCESTER, Mass. – MSU Rowing concluded the regular season at the highly-touted Women's Sprints as three boats made grand finals as the other three qualified for petite finals.
In the morning session preliminaries two boats, the second and third varsity eights qualified for grand finals, while the third varsity four automatically qualified without racing in the morning. Three boats – the first and second varsity fours and the first varsity eight – were slotted into the petite finals.
The second varsity eight posted the best finish of the afternoon, racing to a fifth-place finish in the grand final after placing a boat's length from first in its preliminary heat in the morning.
MSU will use two weeks of preparation ahead of their postseason-opening Big Ten Championships on Sunday, May 19 in Baraboo, Wisc..
