MSU Women’s Cross Country Concludes Regular Season at EMU Classic

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State women's cross country will end the regular season with a selection of athletes competing in the Eastern Michigan Classic at Hudson Mills Metropark in Dexter, Michigan.
Both the men's and women's races will be 5k. The men's race will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the women's race which will start at 5 p.m.
Selected athletes from the No. 24-ranked MSU women's squad will be led by Cookie Baugh and Sarah Forsyth. Mia Rogan and Madison Osterberg are among the other Spartans that will be in action on Friday.
Last time out, the MSU women finished 15th with 365 points at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin. They were the fourth-highest in the Big Ten. Northwestern was fifth with 225 points.
Following the Eastern Michigan Classic, Michigan State will host the Big Ten Championships on Friday, Oct. 31. The meet will take place on Forest Akers East Golf Course. This is the first time since 2012 that the Spartans have hosted the B1G Championships.
