
Great Lakes Invitational Tickets on Sale Now

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Tickets for the 59th Great Lakes Invitational are on sale now. Fans can purchase online at Ticketmaster.com and at the Van Andel Arena, DeVos Place and DeVos Performance Hall Box Office for the December 28 and 29 tournament.
Ticket pricing is based on a per-day basis, and tickets will be distributed on a mobile device. On-glass tickets are $75, with lower bowl sections for $50 and $40, and student tickets at $15.50. Upper-level tickets are $30. Ticket pricing is subject to change, and additional fees may apply.

Michigan Tech is host of the 2025 Great Lakes Invitational, with Miami and Ferris State joining the Spartans in Grand Rapids as the other featured teams competing for the MacInnes Cup.
The 59th GLI starts with a doubleheader matchup on Sunday, December 28, between Michigan Tech and Miami at 3:30 p.m., followed by Michigan State against Ferris State at 7 p.m. The winners of those contests will advance to the GLI Championship game on Monday, December 29, at 7 p.m., while the puck drops on the third-place game at 3:30 p.m. on the same day.
Michigan State is the defending champion and has 13 GLI titles in total. Last season, the No. 1-ranked Spartans scored a pair of third period goals to take down No. 4-ranked Western Michigan in the championship game, 3-1. Joey Larson scored four minutes into the third and Isaac Howard added an insurance goal at the 14:56 mark.
The Great Lakes Invitational was first played in 1965 after the idea for the tournament was conceived and implemented by Michigan Tech coach John MacInnes, Olympia Stadium General Manager Lincoln Cavalieri, and Detroit Red Wings Scout Jack Paterson. The tournament has been played at Olympia Stadium (1965-78), Joe Louis Arena (1979–2012, 2014–16), Comerica Park (2013), and Little Caesars Arena (2018–19). Van Andel Arena has been the host since 2022.
