Richardson Scores 29 Points, No. 9 Michigan State Storms Back to Beat Oregon, 86-74, as Izzo Ties Big Ten Record

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Freshman guard Jase Richardson scored a career-high 29 points and No. 9 Michigan State stormed back from a 14-point halftime deficit and pulled away late for an 86-74 win over Oregon in a Big Ten Conference men's basketball game on Saturday afternoon at the Breslin Center.
The win gave Michigan State Head Coach Tom Izzo his 353rd career Big Ten Conference win, tying former Indiana coach Bob Knight for the most in conference history.
Richardson scored 18 of his 29 points, the most by a Michigan State player in a game this season, in the second half, leading four players in double figures.
Junior forward Jaxon Kohler had his fifth double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while junior guard Tre Holloman added 13 points and a game-high 7 assists and senior guard Jaden Akins had 10 points.
