Elle Adrian Punches Ticket to NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State track & field thrower Elle Adrian has punched her ticket to the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the weight throw.
This season, the championships will be held in Virginia Beach, Virginia March 14-15.
Adrian, a junior from Standish, Michigan, will be competing in her first NCAA Indoor Championship.
Last week at the Big Ten Championships in Indianapolis, Adrian finished fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 22.32m. Adrian secured her spot in the NCAA Championships earlier in the season. On Feb. 8 at the Michigan Invitational, she broke the Michigan State school record in the weight throw with a throw of 22.35m. She qualified 11th. Minnesota's Anthonett Nabwe qualified first (24.22m).
ESPN+ will stream the championships live starting at 9:15 a.m. Eastern time Friday, March 14 and starting at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time Saturday, March 15. There will be a re-air of the championships at 7 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, March 16 on ESPNU.
