EUGENE, Ore. – Michigan State track & field opened action at the 2026 NCAA Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, earning a trio of All-American honors on Wednesday.
Xavier Griffiths had a solid showing in his first NCAA Championships in the hammer throw. In his first throw of the competition, he threw 64.88m, which would be his best of the competition. Griffiths would not advance to the final, but he did earn his first All-American honors, earning honorable mention accolades.
The Spartans continued the night with the Morlock brothers in the shot put. Dillon Morlock finished 10th in his NCAA Championship debut.
