
Holloman Scores Career-High 20 Points to Lead Three in Double Figures as No. 8 Michigan State Beats Michigan, 79-62

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Junior guard Tre Holloman scored a career-high 20 points and No. 8 Michigan State opened up a 22-point lead at the half en route to a 79-62 win over No. 17 Michigan to close out the 2024-25 regular season on Sunday afternoon at the Breslin Center.
Holloman scored 11 of his 20 points in the opening half as MSU opened up a 50-28 lead and then hit key baskets down the stretch as the Spartans pulled away.
Freshman guard Jase Richardson finished with 18 points, five rebounds and three assists, while senior guard Jaden Akins added 11 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Michigan State improves to 26-5 overall and 17-3 in the Big Ten Conference, while Michigan falls to 22-9 overall and 14-6 in league play.
