FORT WORTH, Texas – Five Michigan State gymnasts combined for seven NCAA All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Championships, the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced Friday morning.Â
Two MSU gymnasts – juniors Olivia Zsarmani and Sage Kellerman – collected multiple honors, joining senior Skyla Schulte, who earned her third NCAA All-America nod on Thursday, to become just the second and third Spartans in program history to earn multiple NCAA All-America honors. Freshman Amy Doyle (vault) and senior Gabrielle Stephen (bars) also earned spots on the All-America teams for the first time in their careers.Â
NCAA All-America awards are given to the top eight finishers in each semifinal session of the NCAA Championships. First Team honors are awarded to places one through four, while five through eight receive Second Team nods.Â
MSU earned a total of three All-America honors on vault, led by two first team selections in Kellerman and Doyle. Kellerman finished in a tie for second overall and second in MSU's semifinal session, while Doyle finished fourth overall. Zsarmani finished eighth in the session to collect Second Team honors. All three become MSU's first NCAA All-Americans on vault, while Doyle is the first MSU freshman to be named an All-American on the event and second freshman in program history to be named an NCAA All-American on any event.Â
Stephen finished in a tie for third overall on bars to become the first NCAA First Team All-American on the event. Kellerman and Zsarmani both earned Second Team honors, joining Wendy Minch (1995) as the only Spartans to earn All-America nods on bars.Â
Schulte becomes MSU's first three-time NCAA All-American and only Spartan to earn first team honors on floor, finishing in a tie for fifth place overall on the event. She ends her career with an All-America nod in each of her three NCAA appearances.Â
After having just two NCAA All-Americans prior to the 2025 season, Schulte (twice) and Wendy Minch in 1995, MSU now has six NCAA All-Americans for a total of 10 honors. This is also the first time in program history that MSU has had an NCAA First Team All-American.Â
