Career Stats Will compete for playing time at wide receiver in 2007 . . . AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared in all 12 games as a true freshman, including six starting assignments at wide receiver (vs. Illinois, Ohio State, Northwestern, Purdue, Minnesota and Penn State) . . . ranked fourth on the team in receptions with 25 for 281 yards (11.2 avg.) and three touchdowns . . . caught at least one pass in nine games . . . played well down the stretch, with 11 of his 25 catches coming over the last three games of the season (126 receiving yards during that stretch) . . . had four receptions for a season-high 63 yards at Penn State . . . caught five passes for 57 yards vs. Purdue, including a 21-yard scoring toss from Drew Stanton that gave the Spartans a 15-14 lead early in the fourth quarter . . . also had five catches for 57 yards at Northwestern, including a 9- yard TD grab from Stanton in the back, right corner of the end zone that tied the score at 38 with 3:43 to play . . . had four receptions for 53 yards vs. Illinois . . . scored the first touchdown of his career on an 8-yard pass from Stanton late in the third quarter vs. Eastern Michigan . . . enrolled at Michigan State on Jan. 9, 2006, for the beginning of the spring semester . . .
