Fourth-year walk-on provides depth at strong safety . . . AS A JUNIOR: Academic All-Big Ten selection . . . appeared in five games in 2006 (vs. Idaho, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Ohio State and Minnesota), all on special teams . . . AS A SOPHOMORE: Made his only appearance of the 2005 season in the opener vs. Kent State and suffered a sprained shoulder that sidelined him for the remainder of the year . . . . . . AS A FRESHMAN: Did not see game action in 2004 . . . enrolled at Michigan State in fall 2003 and joined the football team in fall 2004 . . .
