Simone Proulx is in her 16th year working with the Spartan football program, her fourth as the director of football administration.
Prior to her current role under head coach Mel Tucker, she spent the previous six years serving as the head football coach executive administrator for former head coach Mark Dantonio.
Proulx plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the program, including office management, the coordination of onboarding of new student-athletes, and housing for the program. She also supervises the student operations staff. Proulx joined the Spartan football staff in 2008 as a sport operations assistant.
Proulx received her bachelor’s degree in health studies with a specialization in bioethics from Michigan State. She also earned her master’s degree from MSU in sports administration.
Married to Derek Proulx, the couple has three children: Gemma, Genevieve and Toussaint.
