PRIOR TO MSU: Selected by the Nashville Predators with the 31st overall pick in the first round of thf 2026 NHL entry draft in Buffalo ... Played final junior season with Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL where he posted 13 goals and 68 assists in 63 regular season games, and six goals and 22 assists in 21 playoff appearances ... Bleyl's 68 assists led the QMJHL regardless of position and was the highest single-season assist mark by a CHL rookie defenseman in the 21st century ... Bleyl was named the CHL Rookie of the Year and to the CHL All-Star Second Team following a record-setting season in the QMJHL, becoming just the fourth defenseman to earn the honor all time ... Bleyl set a new QMJHL record for points by a rookie defenseman with 81, surpassing a mark that had stood since 1978 ... Bleyl was just the second player in QMJHL history to win both the Sidney Crosby Trophy Rookie of the Year and the Emile Bouchard Trophy as Defenseman of the Year, also capturing the Raymond Lagace Trophy as Defensive Rookie of the Year in the QMJHL ...
