Ended at No. 39 in final ITA National Rankings ... Played mostly at No. 2 singles, posting 7-2 mark, along with going 3-2 at No. 1 singles ... Posted team-high four wins against nationally-ranked opponents, going 4-2 … Qualified for NCAA Individual National Championships by reaching the Playoff Semifinals of the ITA Central Sectional at Fort Worth, Texas, reaching the Round of 32, falling to Colton Smith of Arizona ... To help the Spartans clinch the decisive fifth point over No. 7 Kentucky, defeated No. 39-ranked Jaden Weekes from Kentucky in a thrilling match at No. 2 singles, battling through a tough second set to force a tiebreaker, rallying from dropping the first set, 6-3, by bouncing back to win the next two, 6-3 and 6-2 ... Continuing momentum on weekend, helped MSU secure a victory over Vanderbilt with a strong singles performance, also clinching the team win by defeating Danil Panarin from Vanderbilt in straight sets at No. 2 singles, 7-6 (7-5), 6-1 ... Finished out weekend with 6-2 doubles win teaming with Ozan Baris to beat Western Michigan duo of Brogan Pierce and Jack Davison ... Had season-long five-match win streak starting with straight-set upset of No. 60 Zoran Ludoski of Arizona, 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, in Spartans’ upset of No. 10 Wildcats on March 12, through straight-set win over Saiprakash Goli of Northwestern, 6-2, 6-4, on April 4, then having an unfinished match with No. 16 Kenta Miyoshi of Illinois, 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 2-2 (unf.), before the unbeaten streak came to close with loss to No. 17 Peter Makk of USC at No. 1 singles in back-to-back matches in his regular-season finale action and in first round of the B1G Tournament.
