Saw action in 38 games with 34 starts as the designated player... Posted career highs in every statistical category, including batting average (.250), hits (23), home runs (6) and RBI (18)... Posted four multi-hit and five multi-RBI games... Six home runs ties fifth-highest single-season total in Spartan history... Posted one hit in season debut vs. Southern Illinois at the NFCA Leadoff Classic on Feb. 24... Became regular member of MSU[apos]s starting lineup with a 1-for-3 performance, including one home run and two RBI vs. North Carolina on March 18... Went 1-for-3 vs. Purdue on April 8, adding one run and a season-high four RBI... Tallied three hits in six plate appearances vs. Wisconsin (April 14-15)... Went 1-for-4 vs. Detroit on April 18, adding one run and three RBI... Went 1-for-1 at the plate, posting sixth home run of the season vs. Ohio State on April 23... Tallied two hits vs. Illinois on April 30.

Made 25 appearances with five starts during sophomore campaign... Hit a career-best 2-for-3 vs. Florida Atlantic on March 19, adding one RBI... Two-RBI effort vs. Florida International on March 19 was her career best... All five starts came at the DP position.
2004
Appeared in eight games, mostly in a pinch-hitting role... Recorded lone hit of the season in a victory over Oakland on March 20.
Pre-MSU
Earned four letters for coach Lydia Gonsalez at Highland Park... Also lettered as a middle hitter in volleyball in 2002 and 2003... Served as captain of both the volleyball and softball teams in 2002 and 2003... Earned all-conference honors in softball in 2001, 2002 and 2003... Named all-area first-team in 2002, and the team[apos]s MVP in 2002 and 2003... Earned honorary notice from the Pioneer Press in 2001, 2002 and 2003... Hit .333 as a senior and .355 as a junior... Posted 25 RBI her sophomore year... Recorded six triples as a junior and eight doubles in her senior year... Had four home runs in her sophomore season... Served as president of the varsity club... Scholar-athlete award in 2002 and 2003... DECA state finalist, took second place in 2002 and 2003.
Club Softball
Played for the Illinois Trevians 18-under team that went 37-17 and played in ASA Nationals in Garland, Texas, in 2003... Hit .315 with five doubles, five triples and drove in 27 for the Trevians in 2003.
