Chandler Castle, a native of Ypsilanti, Michigan, serves as the Michigan State University softball athletic trainer. She was hired in June 2018.
Castle completed her undergraduate degree with an athletic training major from Eastern Michigan University and her master of science from the University of Toledo in 2017. Her concentration in athletic training degree's scholarly project was titled "Frequency of Psychological and Psychosocial Concerns Encountered by Certified Athletic Trainers'." Recently, she completed an athletic training internship assigned to women's rowing at Michigan State University.
Castle is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Michigan Athletic Trainers' Society. She is also a Board Certified Athletic Trainer, State of Michigan Licensed Athletic Trainer, CPR/First Aid certified by the American Red Cross, and acts as Clinical Preceptor for Michigan State's Undergraduate Athletic Training Program.
