2007 (Junior): Earned All-Big Ten First Team accolades ... Started every game (59) in 2007, and has started every game ever played for the Spartans (156) ... Led the team in doubles (15), which tied for fifth among league stats and also tied for third in the MSU single-season record books ... Her six stolen bases were a single-season career high; stole a team-leading three bases against Detroit (4/3), which ties for the lead in MSU[apos]s single-game records ... Her .352 batting average ranked third among teammates and 15th in the Big Ten; also sits at 13th in Spartan single-season record books ... Started the season on a four-game hitting streak (7H), only to beat the stretch with a seven-game streak later in the season (4/27 vs. Wisconsin - 5/5 vs. Michigan; 13 H) ... Tallied an RBI in five-straight games (4/3 at Detroit - 4/13 vs. Illinois) ... Recorded a career high 63 hits and 31 RBI ... Had 20 mutli-hit games and five multi-RBI games ... Started all 16 Big Ten contests during freshman campaign, adding seven hits, including one triple and three RBI ... Posted team[apos]s top effort vs. No. 16 Florida in the season-opening win going 3-for-4, including her first home run of her career, with three RBI and two runs scored ... Tallied one hit, one run and one RBI in the 4-4 tie vs. UCF on March 5 ... Managed one hit vs. Eastern Kentucky ... Began four consecutive games with a hit vs. Temple on March 8 ... Tallied three straight games with two hits - vs. Wagner (March 9), Virginia Tech (March 11) and Bethune-Cookman (March 11) at the Stetson Tournament ... Also named to the All-Broward County first team in 2001, 2002 and 2003 ... Hit .470 with 40 RBI in 2003, .466 with 23 RBI in 2002 and .407 with 15 RBI as a freshman in 2001 ... A sweeper, she also lettered in soccer in 2001 and 2002.
Club Softball: Played on the ASA team Miami Waves from 1999-2002, finishing fourth in 2000 at the ASA Nationals U14 Championships ... Also played for Florida Lady Gators in 2003-04.
Personal: Born Aug. 28, 1986 ... Daughter of Steve and Pam Nicosia ... A sociology major ... Twin sister Nikki also plays for MSU ... Father Steve, played professional baseball from 1978-85 ... Sister Kim played softball at Florida Atlantic from 1998-2001, while another sister, Kelly, played at Florida International from 1999-2002.
