2007-08 (Red-shirt Freshman) 10-11 Overall, 6-7 Duals, 4-4 Open Tournaments: Started at 125 ... Finished 10-11 on the season ... Won first four matches to open the season, and won the first match of the season by pinning Eastern Michigan[apos]s Dordell Longstreath at the EMU Open ... Placed second at the EMU Open ... Picked up two wins at the ACC-Big Ten Clash, including an 8-0 major decision victory over North Carolina[apos]s Jason DeLuca ... Won final dual of the season against Penn State[apos]s Eric Caschera ... Competed in the Big Ten Championships.
2006-07 (Redshirt): Wrestled at 133 in open matches, going 8-8 overall ... Posted two major decision wins, the first being a 9-0 decision against Lindenwood[apos]s Josh Dix at EMU[apos]s Open ... The second was posted at the PSU Open, defeating Pitt-Johnstown[apos]s Mike Paronish 9-1 ... Also earned win over Northwestern[apos]s Keith Sulzer, an 8-4 decision in the Cleveland State Open ... Picked up two other wins at EMU Open, defeating Central Michigan[apos]s Jason Whitman, 9-2, and Purdue[apos]s Sean Schmatlz, 6-4 ...
