Placed third at the EMU Open and the Cleveland State Open, posting his first major decision of the season at the event with a 14-2 win over Grant Turnmire of Cleveland State ... First career dual win was a 15-12 decision over Tyshawn Williams from SIU Edwardsville (12/29) ... Recorded first Big Ten dual win with a major decision, 10-1, over Davey Tunon of Indiana (1/19) ... Made his first appearance at the Big Ten Championships, earning an 8-5 win over Eric Barone of Illinois in an NCAA Qualifier allocation match.
