Skate With The Spartans Set For Dec. 6

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State fans have an opportunity to join the Spartan hockey team on the ice at the annual Skate With The Spartans, Monday, Dec. 6 at Munn Ice Arena.
The event will run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., with all Spartan players and coaches on the ice and in uniform, available for fans to meet them and get autographs and photographs.
?Skate With The Spartans has always been a great event for our players and for the community,? head coach Ron Mason said. ?I enjoy seeing people every year and watching them grow up. With the smiles on the fans? faces and on our players? faces, you can tell it is an event everyone enjoys.?
Fans are encouraged to bring their skates and lace them up with the Spartans, although they are not required. There is no admission charge for the event.
The Michigan State hockey team, ranked third in the nation in polls released last night, is 10-1-0 overall (10-0-0 CCHA) and riding a 10-game winning streak entering games at Miami of Ohio this Friday and Saturday. In first place in the CCHA, the Spartans are back at Munn Ice Arena next weekend, Nov. 26-27, against Wisconsin and Minnesota in the College Hockey Showcase. Tickets are available for both of those games ($14 each).
