EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State's hockey team slipped one place to fifth in the national polls this week released Monday evening.
With the hockey team at No. 5, the men's basketball team at No. 8 or 7 and the football team at No. 10, this marks the first week in Michigan State athletics history that the three sports are all ranked in the nation's top 10.
The hockey team is fifth in both the U.S. College Hockey Online poll and the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Coaches poll. Maine, the only unbeaten team in college hockey, is the No. 1 team in the nation in both polls.
