Hockey to Host Skate with the Spartans

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State hockey team hosts its annual "Skate with the Spartans" Tuesday night, Nov. 24, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Munn Ice Arena. The event is free.

"Skate with the Spartans" gives MSU fans the opportunity to meet Spartan players one-on-one and get photographs and autographs.

"Its a special event," head coach Ron Mason said. "We get people young and old who come out and meet the players year after year."

Michigan State is 7-2-2 overall (6-2-2 CCHA) and ranked fifth in the nation heading into the College Hockey Showcase this weekend at Wisconsin (Friday, 8:35 p.m. EST) and Minnesota (Sunday, 3:05 p.m. EST).
